About the Role
Diverse Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Salesperson to join our team in Johannesburg, near Roodepoort. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, technical knowledge of 6-axis industrial robots, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing key accounts, and promoting our catalogue-based robot solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell 6-axis catalogue-based robots and associated equipment
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned to company targets
- Conduct on-site customer needs analysis to recommend appropriate robot models and configurations
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles from enquiry to closing orders
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure repeat business
- Provide pre- and post-sale technical support (with engineering team)
- Prepare and deliver professional client presentations, demonstrations, and ROI proposals
- Develop a strong understanding of 6-axis robot specifications, catalogue options, payloads, reach, cycle times, and controller features
- Strongly negotiate and close deals
- Manage pipeline growth and opportunity management
- Maintain accuracy of forecasts and CRM reporting
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience selling technical/industrial equipment
- Ability to size and recommend 6-axis robots and related accessories

Salary & Benefits
Monthly salary: R 35 000 to R50 000 Gross. Commission on top (salary package is dependent on skills, qualifications, and years of relevant experience only). Discretionary Annual Performance Bonus. Car allowance / company vehicle. Fuel card, tools of trade (laptop, phone).
Note
Please note that the company does not pay half of the pension at all. A Pension Scheme will be taken off your Net Salary, which is not negotiable.
