About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Integration Architect & Technical Advisor to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our integration team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data integrations between our ERP platform and external sales and marketing systems. You will also lead the transformation of our core ERP environment by reducing custom complexity and migrating advanced business logic into a scalable, modern integration layer.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect & Deliver Integration Solutions: Design and implement bi-directional data integrations between the ERP platform and external sales and marketing systems.
- System Decoupling & Modernisation: Lead the transformation of the core ERP environment by reducing custom complexity and migrating advanced business logic into a scalable, modern integration layer.
- Logistics Automation: Develop API-driven integrations with external courier and freight partners to automate routing, shipping processes, and manifest generation directly from sales orders.
- Unified Commerce Enablement: Implement headless integration capabilities that connect a brand-focused website with a transactional B2B/B2C e-commerce platform, delivering a seamless customer identity, pricing, and purchasing experience across channels.
- Product Master Data Management: Ensure accurate synchronization of 20,000 SKUs, product assets, and real-time inventory across all sales channels while maintaining optimal system performance and scalability.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in integration architecture and technical advisory roles.
- Degree in Computer Science or similar field.
- Middleware Mastery (iPaaS): Deep, hands-on experience with enterprise integration platforms (e.g., Celigo, Workato, or Boomi).
- API Expertise: Advanced knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML data transformation, and event-driven architecture.
Qualifications
- Formal education in Computer Science or similar field is required.
