Kendrick Recruitment is seeking talented and passionate chefs at all levels, from Commis to Senior Chef, to join a luxury restaurant in Paarl. This is an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals looking to develop their skills and contribute to a high-end dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook dishes to the restaurants quality and presentation standards

Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and plating

Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and food handling standards

Support the kitchen team in daily operations, including prep work, stock management, and inventory

Assist with menu development and special events as required

Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements & Skills:

Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent experience

Previous experience in a luxury restaurant or high-end hospitality environment is preferred

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen protocols

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Passionate about food, with creativity and attention to detail

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
