This role is critical in ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and safeguarding of company assets.KEY OUTPUTS Financial Management Correct authorisation and allocation of business expenditure Timely and accurate transaction recording (PanStrat & manual systems) Prepare supplier payment requests Interpret and analyse management accounts Assist with payroll preparation and reconciliations Resolve general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation queries Manage and update stock sheetsReporting Meet all non-negotiable finance deadlines Provide feedback on management accounts to the Regional Finance Manager Drive monthly finance meetings and report outcomes Assist with budgets and quarterly forecasts Support lodge managers and directors with financial queries Assist with year-end audits Reconcile clearing accounts and inter-lodge transactions Supervise and manage finance reports Internal Controls & Safeguarding Assets Maintain stock control procedures and assist with stock takes Monitor and update internal controls Conduct documented internal audits and spot checks Investigate and report any losses or control breaches Take responsibility for petty cash, mobile wallets.
