Legal Administrator Bellville
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to our legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and assisting attorneys with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Salary: Market Related
Qualification Requirements:
Matric with Relevant diploma or certificate in office administration or legal studies
5+ years experience as a Legal Administrator in a law firm
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional demeanour and strong work ethic
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
Manage and organise case files, both electronic and physical.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates; maintain attorneys calendars.
Liaise with clients, courts, and other stakeholders as required.
File legal documents with courts and government agencies.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner.
Assist with billing, invoicing, and other basic financial administration.
Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
