Benoni: Financial Accountant (Manufacturing Division)

Purpose of the Role: To manage the full financial accounting function for the South African manufacturing entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and support for operational efficiency within a high-volume, multi-plant environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Prepare management accounts and financial statements for the South African companies. Manage tax, VAT, and statutory submissions in compliance with South African regulations. Support cost accounting and stock control functions in collaboration with production teams. Assist with internal and external audits. Provide financial insight to improve plant performance and cost efficiency. Work closely with the Financial Manager and EXCO to ensure accurate reporting and budgeting. Requirements: BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification (completed articles advantageous). Willing to work overtime. Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Syspro, SAP, or similar). Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
