Job Description: Boilermaker – Mining/Plant Job Responsibilities: Assemble and mechanically join sheets, plates, tubes, pipes, and steel sections. Perform heat treatment processes on engineering metals. Maintain belt conveyor components. Attend to call-outs regarding breakdowns and provide timely solutions. Ensure that engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards and specifications. Maintain engineering equipment according to agreed standards and schedules. Repair engineering equipment when required, ensuring compliance with standards. Contribute to a competent, positive, and motivated team environment. Essential Qualifications: NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or Adult Senior Certificate). Completed formal Learnership program prior to obtaining a Boilermaker artisan trade certificate as recognized by the MQA. Valid Certificate of physical fitness. Ability to read and write in English & Afrikaans. Driver’s License required. Own transport required as the position necessitates standby duties. Desired Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Boilermaker within a mining environment. Qualified with trade papers (section 13 or 26D). Shaft / Plant experience mandatory. Salary & Benefits: Competitive monthly salary between R35,000 and R40,000 ctc. Opportunity to work in an established mining environment.
