Job Description
- Matric, relevant qualification.
- Proven working experience in merchandising administration
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
- Commercial acumen and the ability to understand customer requirements
- Own vehicle and driver’s license essential
DUTIES
- Manage the merchandising administration balancing customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
- Manage and adhere to timelines for all orders
- Inputting of data on inhouse system
- Managing ordering of samples, sample schedules and delivery schedules.
- Managing all purchase orders.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts for pricing, stock and time expectations.
- Ongoing communication and liaison. with Factories in China, Pakistan and India
- Forecasting
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
- Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners
- Remain up to date with industry’s best practices
- Continual follow up with clients from beginning to end of the process following the time frames and understand the urgency of requirements.
- Organising of ticketing
- Deal with changes that occur, get involved in problem solving and sorting out extension requests.
