About the Role
We’re seeking an ambitious and talented individual to join our dynamic team at Resource Plus! As a Cape Town-based Audit Senior, you’ll have the opportunity to work with clients nationally and internationally, upholding the firm’s values and ethos. Key Responsibilities
- Uphold client compliance with relevant policies, auditing approaches, auditing standards, and regulations, whilst proficiently identifying and managing risks
- Efficiently plan and execute audit engagements
- Ensure the team delivers timely audit work to clients and partners
- Analyze financial data, records, reports, and statements
- Maintain a deep understanding of clients’ industries and sectors
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and make a tangible impact
- Keep financial databases up-to-date, including audit findings
- Have a service-oriented approach to dealing with clients
- Conduct internal training as necessary and align with continuous professional development.
- Act as a mentor, encouraging others to embody the firm’s values
Requirements
- Be a South African citizen
- Must have CTA (BCom Accounting Honours)
- Must have BCom Accounting Degree completed for local audit applications
- ITC will be advantageous
- High stress threshold, effective interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties
- Team management skills
- Effective communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
