About the Role
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our HVAC sales team in Cape Town City Centre. As a seasoned sales expert, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue through strategic planning, deployment, and management of our sales team. You will also be responsible for expanding our channel to market, identifying new target contacts and consultants, and ensuring consistent profitable growth in sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales of HVAC products and ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan for the sales market
- Strategize and plan the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, key account management, expenses, profitability, new product development, market research, and brand strategy
- Analyze store and partner performance indicators against company goals and lead direct reports to develop plans to improve business performance
- Expand current channel to market and identify new target contacts and consultants
- Prepare sales strategies to achieve sales growth in both local and export sales to allocated countries bordering South Africa
- Monitor profit by analyzing sales performance by sales group and action strategy to improve on current performance where necessary
- Head the HVAC sales team and ensure sales growth is achieved wherever possible
- Motivate and inspire the team to perform to their full potential through regular meetings with the sales team to review sales performance and forecasts for each region
- Periodically review distributor performance and check on gaps in performance vs target, conducting regular meetings with distributors and sales teams to discuss performance, training, and sales strategy
- Update management on business processes, operating plans, financial models, and profitability
- Conduct effective and accurate market research and apply this information to increase sales
- Analyze sales trends and develop strategies according to results
- Keep up-to-date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
Requirements
- 5-10 years of retail sales and sales management experience
- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office
Qualifications
- Possession of a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
