About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Storeman to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our depot team, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our storehouse, issuing and receiving tools and consumables, and ensuring that all inventory levels are accurately managed.
Key Responsibilities
- General housekeeping of the Depot Stores
- Issuing/receiving of tools and general consumables
- Maintaining and controlling tool inventories
- Controlling MHC Spares Inventory
- Maintain effective stock control at all times
- Maintaining reasonable consumable stock levels
- Assisting the Safety Rep with Tool Inspection Reports as per safety file requirements
- Assisting with monthly stock counts on container movements
- Assisting workshop staff when required
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Knowledge of Tools and consumables used in a manufacturing environment
- Computer skills
- Drivers licence
