Cape Town City Centre: Transmission Substation Engineer

Requirements: BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering or similar. Preferably professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) We are interested in all, or some of the skills and experience listed below, though not every single point is required to be considered Background in the design and delivery of EHV and HV (765kV-132kV) Substations, Primary or Secondary Plant along with skills in Analysis of these networks for AIS and GIS substations Client/project management in the capacity of a technical lead on project tasks Hands-on knowledge of substation design software such as: CDEGS and others. Ability to conduct lightning protection studies.
