Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
– Support budgeting and forecasting activities for mining projects
– Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
– Assist with tax compliance and audit processes
– Update and maintain financial records and documentation
– Provide support for various accounting tasks as needed
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
– 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the mining and minerals industry
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software programs
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
