About the Role

A vibrant, up and coming experienced Hotel General Manager is sought for this hotel situated in Cape Town. We are looking for a leader who has a good understanding of business functions such as human resources, finance, sales and marketing, revenue management, and hotel operations, both F&B and Rooms Division.

Key Responsibilities

Manage hotel operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning
Oversee HR, finance, sales, and marketing activities to drive business growth
Develop and implement strategic plans for revenue management and guest satisfaction
Lead a team of colleagues where necessary and provide coaching and mentoring
Maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers and customers

Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Hospitality
5 – 7 years of experience as Hotel Operations Manager, or General Manager
Proven experience using Opera, Micros, and Microsoft Office
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and lead a team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management (or related field)
