Job Title: Senior Credit Controller

Location: Remote (Cape Town, South Africa)
UK Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (UK time) (May be overtime as well)

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing UK-based business with an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Credit Controller to join their fully remote team. Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their growing team. This role requires an expert in credit control and cash management, who thrives in a high-volume environment and is able to manage client relationships while meeting cash collection targets.
  • Take responsibility for daily credit control for key clients.
  • Hit cash targets while minimizing bad debt and managing cash flow forecasts.
  • Handle high volumes of debtor communications via phone and email.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and review client credit limits.


Requirements

  • 2-5 years of proven experience in Credit Control.
  • Experience managing a 5m ledger with 150-200 accounts.
  • Proficiency in Xero (preferred).
  • A track record of successfully achieving cash collection targets and reducing debtor days.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage client escalations effectively.
  • Skilled in statement reconciliations, cash allocations, credit notes, and invoices.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to drive process improvements.
  • Experience in the recruitment industry is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of invoice factoring is an advantage.
