Centurion: Assistant financial manager

Key Responsibilities / Duties Oversee and manage the full financial function, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor cash flow, financial risks, and working capital. Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure efficiency and compliance. Coordinate audits and liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and banks. Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support business decisions. Assist with project-based financial management, including billing, profitability analysis, and client reporting. Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and other statutory requirements. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom Accounting/Finance). Professional qualification preferred. Minimum 58 years experience in financial management, preferably in consulting, professional services, or corporate environments. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory compliance. Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
