Job Description
- Knowledge and understanding of executive and personal protection and tactical skills, situational and operational planning
- Capable of planning, executing and maintaining executive and personal protection operations in dynamic environments

- Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of the staff
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
- Managing the recruitment, hiring and training processes
- Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients
- Working closely with Managers and other senior staff to improve efficiency and performance
- Improving internal processes for better productivity
- Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports
- Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit
- A key driver of the governance processes.
- Good understanding of all service areas and team deliveries
- HR/ IR Understanding to handle manpower disputes and CCMA hearing
- Admin skills -Report writing and knowledge on working with the Journey management
- platform/system.
- Single point of contact for the customer
- Communication and engagement between customer and supplier
- Handle all Manpower disputes
- Attend CCMA hearings,
- Liaise with internal departments, external partners, and authorities as required.
- Identify and escalate high-risk findings in line with corporate and legal guidelines
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
- PSIRA Grade A
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 10 years’ Managerial experience/exposure
- Security related or similar relevant qualifications
- Minimum 20 years security experience
- Good Labour Relations skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and strong administration skills
- Bilingual (English and any other South African language) A working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified threats.
- Ensure security measures align with BPC policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Strong knowledge of security risk assessment methodologies and assurance frameworks.
- Familiarity with SA security regulations, counterterrorism measures, and health & safety requirements.
- Experience working with law enforcement, emergency services, and private security providers.
- Ability to analyse security incidents, trends, and operational risks effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to evolving security threats in real-time.
- Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to regular change
- Good understanding of BCEA, OHS Act, LRA and National Bargaining Council
- Willing to work after hours and be on standby
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record
- Driver’s license and own reliable transport
- Analytical and quality focused – able to produce accurate management information
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Experience in intelligence, investigations, security, risk, or a related field (advantage).
