About the Role
The Centurion: General Manager will be responsible for leading our executive and personal protection operations in dynamic environments, while ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security risk assessment methodologies and assurance frameworks, as well as experience working with law enforcement, emergency services, and private security providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and maintain executive and personal protection operations in dynamic environments
- Develop key performance goals and manage the performance of staff
- Create and implement strategies for business growth
- Manage large projects and interpret performance reports
- Ensure security measures align with BPC policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years’ security experience
- PSIRA Grade A
- Good Labour Relations skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and strong administration skills
- Bilingual (English and any other South African language)
- A working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ Managerial experience/exposure
- Security related or similar relevant qualifications
