Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Conduct emissions testing for engineering design and performance testing purposes.
- Prepare mass and energy balances for process analysis.
- Develop equipment data sheets specifying process equipment and instrumentation.
- Generate Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Document process designs, control philosophies, and design reports.
- Collaborate with suppliers and clients.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines throughout design and implementation phases.
- Perform complex process modelling and design calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and tenders.
- Investigate and report on client process problems through site testing and inspections.
- Participate in commissioning and testing of new installations.
- Troubleshoot new and existing installations.
- Monitor plant performance over guarantee periods and report findings.
- Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale work to validate process design parameters.
