Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Machine Design Engineer with a strong background in automation systems and custom mechanical design.
In this role, you will conceptualize and develop mechanical systems, automation equipment, and precision tooling that meet our client’s operational and environmental goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom mechanical and automation systems to meet client requirements.
- Produce high-quality 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Integrate actuators, sensors, and control elements into complete mechanical assemblies.
- Work closely with electrical and control teams to ensure cohesive system design.
- Perform kinematic and motion analysis to enhance machine performance.
- Lead or support prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement of mechanical designs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide on-site technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements
? Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
? 5–8 years’ experience in mechanical machinery or automation system design
? Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
? Proven experience with prototyping and mechanical system testing
Key Competencies
? Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills
? Effective communication and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Experience
- Background in mining, energy, or heavy manufacturing industries
- Exposure to sustainable or green engineering initiatives
- Understanding of PLC systems and basic control logic
