About the Role
Are you a technically skilled Red Seal Millwright with a passion for machinery, problem-solving, and high-performance production environments? Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and align machinery and equipment per technical drawings
- Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Fabricate or modify parts when required
- Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and compliance records
- Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure machinery reliability
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (if applicable)
- Support continuous improvement by identifying mechanical and process enhancements
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures and safety regulations
Requirements
- Red Seal Millwright Trade Certificate (essential)
- 35 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing/production environment
- FMCG or Pharmaceutical experience advantageous
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Computer literate (MS Office; CMMS advantageous)
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
