Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Centurion: SAIPA Clerk to join our team at Pro-Match Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for capturing and processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Capture and process accounting transactions
Maintain accurate accounting records up to trial balance
Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with SARS requirements
Assist with payroll processing and related submissions
Support the preparation of management accounts and financial statements
Handle basic tax computations and assist with tax submissions
Liaise with clients and respond to accounting-related queries
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures

Requirements

Relevant accounting qualification (completed or in progress)
Matric Certificate
Registered or eligible to register as a SAIPA Clerk
Basic understanding of accounting principles and VAT
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (advantageous)
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
