Key Responsibilities

• Capture and process accounting transactions
• Maintain accurate accounting records up to trial balance
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with SARS requirements
• Assist with payroll processing and related submissions
• Support the preparation of management accounts and financial statements
• Handle basic tax computations and assist with tax submissions
• Liaise with clients and respond to accounting-related queries
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant accounting qualification (completed or in progress)
• Matric Certificate
• Registered or eligible to register as a SAIPA Clerk
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and VAT
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
