About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Citrusdal. As a key member of our export logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of our products to international markets. Your expertise in managing supply chains, optimizing shipping routes, and ensuring timely deliveries will be essential in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate Export Logistics: Stock management & loadouts
Vessel bookings & instructions
Coordinate execution of export loads with 3rd party service providers, i.e. freight forwarders and shipping lines etc.
Track shipments and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding shipment status and potential delays.
Export Supply Chain Financial Controls: Receive & update total supply chain costings for export markets.
Collaborate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
Manage and sign off on logistics costs.
Export administration (updating systems, export schedule, stock levels and updating of program volumes)
Stay up to date with market trends, industry developments, product knowledge and industry best practices to effectively address customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.

Requirements

Applicable tertiary qualification, and continuous learning attitude
Relevant experience, preferably within fruit industry
Advanced management and numerical capability
Computer Literacy
Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Willingness and ability to work and prosper within a team environment
Self-motivated, driven, resilient and humble

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (if applicable)
