Data Science and Insights Manager
The Manager: Data Science and Insights is responsible for establishing a robust data environment, defining key performance metrics, and driving advanced analytics to enhance client engagement, retention, and revenue growth. This role requires expertise in data integration, predictive modelling, and personalisation strategies to optimise member experiences across digital and physical channels. Key Responsibilities Establish an Integrated Client Data Environment Develop and maintain a secure, dedicated data infrastructure for measurement, evaluation, and reporting (ME&R). Ensure seamless integration with CRM platforms, particularly Braze, to enable real-time, personalised member engagement. Manage strategic data metrics, including system uptime, availability, storage, computing, and consumption models. Define and Standardise Performance Metrics Establish clear definitions and measurement standards for key business drivers such as retention, ancillary revenue, referrals, utilisation, and Member Lifetime Value (MLV). Implement automated reporting processes to track and benchmark performance effectively. Advanced Member Segmentation & Predictive Modelling Identify and analyse key member segments based on behavioural, demographic, and psychographic data. Develop predictive models to enhance member lifecycle management, focusing on retention, upselling, and reactivation. Personalisation & Communication Strategy Develop and execute a data-driven personalisation strategy across multiple channels. Identify key data points (behavioural, transactional, demographic) to enhance targeted communication and content delivery. Next-Best Wellness Action Recommender Utilise data analytics to design and implement personalised wellness recommendations. Apply reinforcement learning techniques to optimise member interactions and retention. Use regression modelling to analyse factors affecting member acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. Data Integration & Unified Member View Consolidate and harmonise data from multiple platforms, including case management, lead management, and marketing automation systems. Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless data integration from key suppliers and platforms (Comarch, YoYo, Flexer, etc.). Supplier Data Landscape Management Collaborate with IT and external suppliers to enhance data quality, integrity, and availability. Optimise the supplier data landscape for improved operational and analytical insights. Loyalty & Targeted Spending Analysis Conduct in-depth loyalty analysis to optimise spending based on member profiles. Translate insights into targeted acquisition and retention strategies to maximise ROI. Dashboard & Automated Reporting Development Lead the design and implementation of automated, interactive dashboards for real-time reporting. Ensure accessibility and visibility of key insights across business units and regions. Contribute to the Overall Client Data Strategy & Advanced Analytics Develop a unified client data strategy to provide a single, aggregated view of all members. Standardise data collection, usage, and analytics across regions to drive business intelligence. Establish an advanced analytics framework to support strategic decision-making at global and local levels. Enable senior leadership with actionable insights to enhance engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
