Camp Manager Luxury Private Game Reserve, KwaZulu-Natal

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a junior Camp Manager for a luxury private game reserve in KwaZulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic hospitality professional to gain valuable lodge management experience and grow within the industry. The ideal candidate will have some background in guest hosting and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

Accommodation:
Private room with en-suite bathroom
Meals provided in the staff canteen

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare welcome and departure notes for guests
Check guests in during the day and manage dietaries, child requirements, and special requests
Implement and uphold the lodges BOPs
Host guests throughout the day, including welcoming them back from drives and assisting with requests
Ensure all guest-facing products and experiences meet required standards
Oversee the set-up of breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Maintain a tidy and well-presented main area in line with lodge standards
Host guests during meals and ensure smooth service delivery from the kitchen and waitstaff
Work closely with waiters and Heads of Department to uphold service excellence
Assist in other departments when required
Plan and host childrens activities at the lodge
Deliver high-quality service and guest experience
Demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm when organising childrens activities

Previous Experience:
Experience in the service industry, especially involving guest interaction
Previous camp management or safari hosting experience (advantageous)
Experience working with children (advantageous)
