About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Field Based Trade Sales Development Manager to join our team in Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for supporting Dealers in their parts trade sales operations, providing training and coaching, and driving business growth through strategic planning and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Dealers with support in areas of Parts Trade Sales Reps recruitment, approval, training and coaching
- Agree Dealer marketing campaigns and processes needed to establish and maintain an effective and efficient Trade Parts sales operation
- Assist in the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) at individual Dealer and regional levels
- Support Zone Managers in recruiting new Dealers onto Trade Club and related sales and marketing campaigns
- Report on Dealer qualification standards relating to the Trade Club element of bonus programs and approve payments under these schemes
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience in same or similar role as Field Based Trade Sales Development Manager in the motor industry, OEM or wholesale level
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages
- Strong relationship management and strategic planning skills
- Enthusiastic and determined with the ability to create enthusiasm for sales and sales technique within a dealership environment from the OEMs perspective
Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in business, marketing, sales or related B2B sales
