About the Role
Edenvale is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex court cases from inception to completion in Civil litigation, with a strong focus on Derivatives as it relates to Business Law. We are looking for an attorney who can provide expert advice, consult and represent clients on multiple areas of law, including Company Law, Commercial Law, Franchise Law, Labour Law, and Civil litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage court cases from inception to completion in Civil litigation
- Draft documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda
- Represent clients in High Court and other legal forums as required
- Provide expert advice on Derivatives and Business Law matters
- Manage client files and correspondence
- Travel to attend meetings and court hearings as needed
Requirements
- Admitted Attorney with at least 5-10 years’ post-admission experience
- Experience in managing complex court cases in Civil litigation
- Strong expertise and confidence in topics such as Company Law, Commercial Law, Franchise Law, Labour Law, and Civil litigation
- Ability to advise, consult, and represent clients on multiple areas of law
