Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and direction to the engineering department. Oversee design, development, and implementation of engineering projects and initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and equipment reliability. Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for engineering projects. Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team. Excellent attention to detail skills. Developing and implementing scheduling rules and practices. Identifying problems and helping improve processes. Using software to generate reports and schedules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and business objectives. Requirements: NQF Level 7 in Mechanical, Engineering. Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role . Candidate with a Government Certificate of Competency would be advantages Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects in a manufacturing environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of operational processes in the lean manufacturing industry.
