Sales Consultant (Fencing industry)
Key Responsibilities: Sales Generation: Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling. Present and demonstrate fencing products to prospective clients. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and clients. Understand customer needs and customize fencing solutions accordingly. Provide ongoing support and after-sales service to ensure long-term client satisfaction. Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Stay informed on industry trends and competitors. Educate customers on the features and advantages of fencing systems. Quotations & Proposals: Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients. Negotiate sales terms and conditions effectively. Reporting: Regularly update sales activity, pipeline development, and sales forecasts. Keep CRM software updated with accurate customer and sales data. Market Research: Identify new markets and opportunities for fencing products. Analyze market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Skills and Qualifications: Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the fencing, security, or construction industries. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of fencing products, security solutions, and customer needs. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction. Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and close sales successfully. Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations. Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills to foster long-term client relationships. Requirements: Matric with a business or sales diploma (advantageous). Fluency in English and Afrikaans. Proficient in computer use and CRM systems. Own a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license. Ability to travel long distances (physically fit). Proven sales track record, particularly in high-value products or solutions. Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
