Key Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records including general ledger entries, journals, and reconciliations. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate entries. Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and petty cash balances. Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Maintain and file financial documents in an organized and accessible manner. Assist with payroll preparation and reporting where required. Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial queries. Support audits by preparing relevant documentation and ensuring record accuracy. Monitor compliance with financial procedures and internal controls. Perform any other finance-related administrative tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 23 years experience in a finance or accounting administrative role. A diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is advantageous. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Opera, Micros, or similar systems). Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial processes. Strong Excel and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information with integrity.
