Financial Manager-Operations: International luxury retail Head Office role
Salary: circa R1million Location: Randburg Required experience Qualified CA (SA) with min 3 years post qualification Experience with multiple currencies essential Working knowledge of VAT for inventory and consignment stock would be an advantage Key responsibilities To ensure that applicable accounting standards (IFRS) are adhered to regarding the Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet reporting as well as preparing various schedules and disclosures as per internal (monthly management pack) and regulatory requirements. This is across all companies (SA and UK). Investigate and correct any variances identified in Sales recons (this is between Zoho CRM and Zoho Books) Cash reconciliation (Investigate and reconcile all cash drawers and journal posting). Manage all aspects of merchant services (manage relationship with banking partner and discuss and finalise agreements as well as providing assistance with the implementation at store level). To ensure all controls are adhered to. Identify and drive improvements in the implementation of the financial control framework across all areas of responsibility. Assist with audit requests and queries (SA and UK). Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders (finance team, head/support office staff, workshop, store ambassadors, bank partners). Account for the company’s Financial Services day to day transactions, month end reporting and regulatory reporting.
