About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie for a luxury guest farm based in Franschhoek, Western Cape. This role is well suited to a creative chef who values collaboration, honest produce, and meaningful guest interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement daily menus aligned with the farm’s culinary philosophy
- Make full use of seasonal, garden-driven produce
- Communicate regarding available produce and harvesting
- Adapt menus creatively and flexibly to accommodate guest dietary requirements
- Deliver consistently excellent food and service
- Maintain a calm and focused presence in a high-pressure environment
- Communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Remain organised, efficient, and able to multitask
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the culinary industry
- Strong interest and experience in plant-based cooking
- An interest in or understanding of medicinal herbs is advantageous
- Confident, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Passion for beautiful, honest produce and thoughtful cooking
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the culinary industry
Salary & Benefits
R15,000 – R18,000 (Negotiable DOE)
