Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for a prestigious luxury wine estate located in Franschhoek. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join a dynamic hospitality team in one of South Africas most picturesque wine regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

• Allocate duties to housekeeping staff and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and quality.

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues.

• Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies and linen, ensuring sufficient stock levels.

• Liaise with the maintenance team regarding any issues identified during inspections.

• Train new housekeeping staff and ensure ongoing development of the team.

• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and promptly.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within a luxury hospitality environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Good communication skills and a professional demeanour.

• Proficient in basic computer skills and housekeeping management systems.

• Must be flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
