Requirements Minimum 2-5 years previous Sous chef experience in a similar upmarket Restaurant/Wine Estate setting Professional Culinary and Hygiene qualifications Farm to table concept experience very beneficial Computer literate (Word, Excel, Micros) Excellent and productive support to the Head Chef, able to lead the team Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Extremely hands on- ensures preparation of food and equipment is on time and up to standard, well prepared for service, running service from the front line, ensuring every plate is up to standard Ability to co-ordinate the kitchen team to produce menus and food items with attention to detail, and high standards of presentation Great team player who communicates effectively in the kitchen with fellow employees for a positive and professional atmosphere Exceptional understanding of culinary trends (wine knowledge beneficial) Knowledgeable of all dietary requirements Exceptionally guest oriented- strives for guest satisfaction Good knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control- Follows and Implements wastage and variance control procedures- profit focused Good knowledge of planning, budgeting, and departmental administration Must be energetic and upbeat, professional and ambitious Package on offer Salary NEG D.O.E Live out Starting Date: Asap
