About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bonus Administrator to join our team at Gold One Group, where you will play a critical role in calculating and managing production-based bonuses for underground and surface employees. With a strong background in payroll and bonus administration, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with wage agreements, union agreements, and company bonus structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate monthly/quarterly production and performance bonuses for underground and surface employees.
- Capture and verify production data, shift records, and time & attendance inputs.
- Reconcile bonus payments against production targets and payroll reports.
- Resolve bonus-related queries and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and audit trails.
- Liaise with Mining, HR, Payroll, and Finance departments for data verification.
- Support audits and internal controls relating to bonus schemes.
- Ensure adherence to Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and company policies where applicable.
- Manage and maintain the area of responsibility in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (Accounting or Mathematics advantageous)
- Diploma or certificate in Payroll, HR, Finance, or Administration
- 24 years experience in bonus administration, payroll, or mining remuneration systems
- Experience working with production-based bonus schemes (mining environment essential)
- Strong Excel and payroll system skills
- High numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills
