Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyse blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labour estimates.
  • Use software tools and manual calculations for project cost estimates.
  • Consult with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to clarify project details.
  • Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes and maintain cost database.
  • Track project scope changes and update estimates.
  • Prepare bid packages and assist tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and finance teams on project budgets.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  • Grade 12.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of construction estimating experience.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and market prices.
