Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyse blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labour estimates.
- Use software tools and manual calculations for project cost estimates.
- Consult with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to clarify project details.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes and maintain cost database.
- Track project scope changes and update estimates.
- Prepare bid packages and assist tender submissions.
- Collaborate with project managers and finance teams on project budgets.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Grade 12.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of construction estimating experience.
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and market prices.
