About the Role
To safely and efficiently transport goods using Code 14 vehicles, ensuring on-time deliveries, compliance with road regulations, and adherence to company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate Code 14 MAN trucks safely and responsibly
• Transport goods to designated locations according to delivery schedules
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs
• Ensure loads are correctly secured and comply with dangerous goods regulations
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time
• Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and traffic legislation
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of assigned vehicle
• Report incidents, accidents, or delays immediately
Requirements
• Valid Code 14 driver’s licence
• Valid PrDP – DGP (Dangerous Goods Permit)
• Minimum 5 years’ proven driving experience
• Minimum 5 years MAN truck driving experience
• Clear criminal record
• Medically fit and sober habits
• Good knowledge of South African road traffic laws
Qualifications
