About the Role
Execustaff South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Driver & Stores Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our logistics support team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless sales team logistical support, regional deliveries and collections, workshop parts delivery and collection, document control and administrative support, stores assistance – picking & packing, housekeeping & vehicle care, and providing ad-hoc operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with urgent logistical needs
- Move documentation or parts as required
- Complete all deliveries and collections on time and safely
- Ensure accurate PODs, signatures, and delivery note stamping
- Deliver workshop-required parts immediately after collection
- Deliver repaired components from the Workshop directly to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Pick up components from customers that need to be repaired and deliver them safely to the Workshop
- Communicate delays or discrepancies to Workshop and Stores leadership immediately
Requirements
- Matric
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8 or above)
- Forklift license advantageous
- 2–3 years’ experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse operations
- Strong understanding of basic stores processes
- Good communication and customer-service abilities
- Ability to lift and handle heavy items safely
- Route planning and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail in documentation control
- Demonstrated safe driving record
- Basic ERP knowledge advantageous
