About the Role
We are seeking dynamic and driven Sales Representatives to join our clients team across multiple regions in Gauteng, specifically covering the areas of Heidelberg, East Rand, West Rand, and Pretoria. As a Sales Representative (Consumables) with Chainlink Recruitment Ltd, you will be responsible for achieving agreed-upon sales targets while building strong relationships with existing and new customers. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts
- Provide high levels of service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Plan and organise daily work schedules to call on existing or potential new accounts
- Keep management informed by submitting: Daily call reports Weekly work plans Monthly sales analysis
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and preparing reports
- Coordinate activities within the company to ensure customer commitments are met
- Collaborate with internal teams to support order fulfilment and service delivery
Requirements
- Strong sales ability with a hunter mindset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Professional, confident, and customer-focused
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High energy, driven, and target-oriented
- Well-presented and professional
- Valid Drivers License
- Packaging industry experience (advantageous)
- Self-motivated, able to work without supervision
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Fast learner with a willingness to go the extra mile
- Computer literate (Windows, MS Word, Excel)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field
