Job Description
We are recruiting for a Financial Assistant to support the accounting team with day-to-day financial administration and basic accounting functions. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and a solid foundation in accounting principles who is looking to grow within an accounting firm environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting and financial administration tasks.
- Capture financial data accurately and timeously.
- Support bookkeeping functions including processing invoices and reconciliations.
- Assist with preparing basic financial reports and schedules.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records.
- Provide administrative support to accountants and senior staff as required.
- Liaise with clients where necessary regarding documentation and queries.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant qualification or studies in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance support role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Stable work history with a reliable track record.
