Job Description

Role Overview:
We are recruiting for a Financial Assistant to support the accounting team with day-to-day financial administration and basic accounting functions. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and a solid foundation in accounting principles who is looking to grow within an accounting firm environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily accounting and financial administration tasks.
  • Capture financial data accurately and timeously.
  • Support bookkeeping functions including processing invoices and reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparing basic financial reports and schedules.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records.
  • Provide administrative support to accountants and senior staff as required.
  • Liaise with clients where necessary regarding documentation and queries.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification or studies in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance support role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Stable work history with a reliable track record.
