We’re looking for a dynamic Management Accountant to support the Group Finance team, driving systems improvements and bringing financial insight that impacts group-wide operations.
 
As a Management Accountant, you’ll work directly with the Group Financial Controller to enhance financial reporting, implement system improvements, and streamline accounting processes. Your role will focus on management and statutory accounting, alongside delivering specialized finance projects to support strategic growth.

Duties:
 

• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated management accounts with analysis and commentary.
• Assist in bi-annual statutory accounts and annual audit processes.
• Develop annual budgets and short-term cash flow forecasts for treasury purposes.
• Manage tax returns and associated filings.
• Lead automation initiatives in procurement, invoice processing, and approvals.
• Integrate payroll and HR data with accounting databases.
• Enhance documentation and conduct risk analysis to support robust reporting.
• Build customized financial reports, providing valuable insights from both financial and non-financial data.
• Contribute to the long-term migration to a consolidated ERP financial management platform.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
 
Qualifications:
 

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
• CIMA is a plus.

 
Experience:
 

• Minimum of 5 years in management accounting or a similar role, ideally in a growth-focused company.
• Proficiency in financial reporting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling expertise are essential.
• Strong analytical abilities with a talent for explaining complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
