About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team, responsible for managing the full payroll function and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Sage 300 and experience in payroll accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full payroll function
  • Applications for tax directives
  • Completing statutory returns and handling statutory payments
  • Completing IRP501 recons and year-end on e@syFile
  • Staff queries
  • Garnishees & maintenance orders
  • Handling administration of medical aid, provident and funeral funds
  • Capturing employee data in respect of engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotions
  • Reconciliations of medical aid, provident and other third-party payments
  • Importing data
  • Payroll variances
  • Preparing payroll files for finance and producing reports for month-end
  • Filing & scanning

Requirements

  • Completed Matric (Grade 12)
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Payroll essential
  • 5 to 6 years’ experience in a Payroll Administrator position essential
  • Sage 300 working knowledge essential
  • Strong understanding of statutory payments and returns
  • Payroll accounting and reporting to finance experience essential

About the Role

Network Finance, a well-established automotive conglomerate based in Johannesburg East, is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their finance team. As a detail-oriented professional with a passion for payroll accuracy and compliance, you will take ownership of the payroll process while ensuring statutory requirements and internal procedures are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full payroll function from processing through to reporting
  • Apply for tax directives and ensure statutory compliance
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns and payments
  • Complete IRP501 reconciliations and year-end processes using e@syFile
  • Address and resolve staff payroll queries
  • Manage garnishees and maintenance orders
  • Administer medical aid, provident fund, and funeral fund benefits
  • Capture and maintain employee data including engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotions
  • Reconcile medical aid, provident fund, and third-party payments
  • Import payroll data and investigate payroll variances
  • Prepare payroll files for finance and produce month-end payroll reports
  • Maintain accurate filing and payroll documentation
