About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team, responsible for managing the full payroll function and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Sage 300 and experience in payroll accounting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Full payroll function
- Applications for tax directives
- Completing statutory returns and handling statutory payments
- Completing IRP501 recons and year-end on e@syFile
- Staff queries
- Garnishees & maintenance orders
- Handling administration of medical aid, provident and funeral funds
- Capturing employee data in respect of engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotions
- Reconciliations of medical aid, provident and other third-party payments
- Importing data
- Payroll variances
- Preparing payroll files for finance and producing reports for month-end
- Filing & scanning
Requirements
- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Payroll essential
- 5 to 6 years’ experience in a Payroll Administrator position essential
- Sage 300 working knowledge essential
- Strong understanding of statutory payments and returns
- Payroll accounting and reporting to finance experience essential
