Receiving Clerk
Seniority Level: Mid-Career (2 – 3 yrs exp)
Type: Contractor
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 2–3 years’ experience in goods receiving/warehouse administration
- Experience working on QuickEasy (preferred) or any ERP system
- Strong administrative and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Clear criminal record
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive incoming goods, materials, and components
- Verify deliveries against POs, delivery notes, and invoices
- Check quantities, quality, and condition of received items
- Capture receipts and update inventory on QuickEasy or ERP system
- Work with suppliers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure correct labelling and movement of stock into store locations
- Maintain accurate receiving documentation and filing
- Communicate any shortages, damages, or non-conformances immediately
