A well-established, independent importer and distributor of high-quality electronic components is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Field Sales Engineer / External Sales Representative to join their Gauteng team. With decades of industry experience and a strong national presence, this company services a wide range of industries including industrial automation, RF communications, IOT, and consumer electronics.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the electronics manufacturing and OEM sectors.
• Develop long-term customer relationships through face-to-face visits and technical consultations.
• Conduct product presentations and on-site client meetings.
• Provide accurate quotations and oversee the full sales cycle to ensure timely project delivery.
• Work closely with technical support teams and international suppliers to find the best-fit solutions.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure excellent after-sales service and ongoing client satisfaction.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3–5 years’ experience in external sales, ideally in the electronics industry.
• Sound knowledge of electronic components, including semiconductors and passives.
• Valid Code B driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Based in or near the East Rand / Boksburg area.

• Strong selling skills with a technical mindset.
• Computer literacy, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
