About the Role

A fast-growing, tech-driven insurance and financial services business based in George is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in translating business needs into clear, actionable technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to ensure high-quality outcomes across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Translate business ideas, objectives, and challenges into clear business and system requirements.
Work closely with Business and Development Project Managers to deliver effective, scalable solutions.
Map business processes, document use cases and define user stories to guide development and testing teams.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams from concept through UAT and delivery.
Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

2–5 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst.
Experience within insurance or financial services environments is advantageous.
Strong ability to translate complex concepts into clear, structured documentation.
Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar requirements-management platforms.
Comfortable working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
