• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on laundry and catering equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues across a variety of equipment types.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and report progress to management.
• Participate in in-house training programs to develop expertise across the full product range, including older equipment models.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally in the field.

Requirements:

• Trade test qualification in Electrical, Mechanical (Fitter), or Millwright.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a qualified artisan.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Willingness to undergo extensive in-house training (1-3 years).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong desire to learn new skills and develop within the company.

Salary and Benefits:

• Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
• Typical starting salary for a qualified technician with 2-3 years’ experience: approx. R16,000/month (excluding company benefits).
• Additional benefits provided as per company policy.

Additional Information:

• The role is based in George with travel across the Garden Route and inland as required.
• Training is provided in-house, covering both current and older equipment models.
