About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Storeman to join our team at West Coast Personnel. As a Storeman, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up goods as instructed, assisting with stock counts, adhering to our EH&S policy, and providing back-up as needed. You will also have full control and responsibility for branch stores, handling general store duties such as dispatch, picking & packing, housekeeping, IWT’s, GRN’s, RCN’s, SRN’s, and all other store admin duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery and pick-up of goods as instructed
- Assist with stock counts as and when necessary
- Adhere to Metraclark’s EH&S policy
- Provide back-up as and when necessary
- Full control and responsibility for branch stores
- General stores’ duties including dispatch, picking & packing, housekeeping, IWT’s, GRN’s, RCN’s, SRN’s, and all other store admin duties
Requirements
- Physical ability to handle stock
- Compulsory: Matric or NQF Level 4 Equivalent
- Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license + Code 8
- Minimum of Four (4) Years driving experience
- Possession of a Forklift license will be an advantage
- Experience in a stores environment will be an advantage
- Proficiency on computers will be an advantage
