Automation Technician Johannesburg East Well-established manufacturer. Key responsibilities will include maintaining automation, reliability, process control, and instrumentation systems. Qualification: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (L/C)(S4) Preferably in the Process Instrumentation and Control Systems field. Electronic/Instrumentation technician Trade test is beneficial. Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in a relevant field involving Industrial Automation. Fundamentals in Electronic Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Hydraulic circuits/Pneumatic circuits/Process instrumentation Competencies & Skills: PLC/DCS Programming AC/DC Drive setup SCADA Applications Development HMI Applications Development Industrial Communications Networks – Profibus/Ethernet/Fiber Optic/Profi-net/Device-net/Control-net/ASi Competency on Allan Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware and Citect Industrial Automation products. Industrial Automation Systems Integration. Design, Analysis and Interpretation of Electrical drawings/Instrumentation drawings/Pneumatic and Hydraulic circuit diagrams. Interpret P&ID diagrams.
