About the Role

Flink Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Germiston. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing daily factory and processing operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and driving retail turnover and gross profit.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily factory and processing operations.
Control production costs, yields, and losses.
Improve efficiency, throughput, and equipment uptime.
Monitor labour, utilities, and maintenance costs.
Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
Manage audits and corrective actions.
Prevent contamination, recalls, and customer complaints.
Manage staffing, productivity, and discipline.
Control wages, overtime, and absenteeism.
Ensure staff training and development.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in meat processing or food manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of food safety (HACCP).
Experience managing staff and production teams.
Good understanding of costing, yields, and stock control.

Qualifications

CODE B (Car) license.

Salary & Benefits

R 60000 – 80000 per annum.
