About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager who is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) to join our client’s growing team at a startup mine in the mining industry in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the mine, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of the mine
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and stakeholders
- Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management in decision-making processes
- Work closely with the CEO and other department heads to drive financial performance and optimize business operations
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with at least 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the mining industry
- Strong technical skills in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations and driving business performance
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial software applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in Accounting or a related field
