Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager who is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) to join our client’s growing team at a startup mine in the mining industry in the Northern Cape.

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Manage and oversee the financial operations of the mine, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis
– Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and stakeholders
– Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
– Provide financial guidance and support to senior management in decision-making processes
– Work closely with the CEO and other department heads to drive financial performance and optimize business operations
– Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements
– Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing mentorship and guidance as needed

Qualifications and Experience:
– Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with at least 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the mining industry
– Strong technical skills in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
– Proven track record of successfully managing financial operations and driving business performance
– Experience working with ERP systems and financial software applications
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
– Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on developing and motivating team members
– Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the mining industry in South Africa
