Our client is a global leader in mining and engineering, focused on operational excellence, safety, and innovation. They seek a technically skilled and analytical professional to enhance technology-driven safety, compliance, and fleet optimization. Role: Systems Analyst This role supports the operations technology team by managing in-cab surveillance and fleet management systems to improve safety, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities System Administration & Reporting: Generate reports, manage user access, and analyze fleet data. In-Cab Surveillance: Monitor live/recorded feeds, manage evidence, and ensure system health. Fleet Performance: Track operator behavior, analyze equipment metrics, and optimize efficiency. Safety & Compliance: Enforce SOPs, support audits, and maintain accurate logs. Minimum Requirements Matric/Grade 12 3 years in open-cast mining with heavy earth-moving equipment 5 years system-related experience, including 3 years in system administration Experience with CCTV and fleet monitoring systems Strong MS Excel skills Valid driver’s license Advantageous Tertiary qualification (IT, Data Analysis, Mining Engineering) Experience with platforms like VisionLink, Komtrax, FleetMatic, IFS Familiarity with BI/reporting tools
