CHEF DE PARTIE | 5-STAR SAFARI LODGE – THORNYBUSH
WILCON Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious 5-star safari lodge located in the scenic Thornybush area. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join a talented kitchen team dedicated to delivering outstanding culinary experiences. This is a wonderful opportunity for a chef who is creative, detail-oriented, and thrives in a high-end bush lodge setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for guests
- Ensure consistency and excellence in all dishes served
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your designated section
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations and planning
- Monitor stock levels, portion control, and wastage
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a recognised culinary qualification or relevant chef training, along with at least 2–3 years of experience as a CDP in a lodge or fine-dining environment. A strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment is essential. The ideal applicant will be a team player with a proactive and positive attitude, able to perform well under pressure, and willing to live and work in a remote bush location.
